Project 52: Week 31 - Favorite Part

If you read my blog post from earlier this week, then you know that Izzy had surgery to remove a mast cell tumor. The day of the surgery was hard, she came home and cried...a lot. We couldn't figure out why and it took several hours before she finally settled down and went to sleep. The next morning, she woke up chipper and happy, her usual perky self. Her wound is healing well, it always amazes me how quickly these dogs recuperate after surgery. Still, it's hard to not to worry. I can't tell you how many times I hugged her and kissed her nose. Promising that it will all be ok, that I will take care of her.

Which brings me to this week's project 52 theme, Favorite Part. I'm not sure that I have a favorite part of Izzy. I love her eyes and how I can see her soul when I look into them. I love her smile and how happy she is all the time and how happy she makes me. I love her feet, what it is about dog's paws that we find so cute? I love her nose because I kiss it all the time, even though she'd rather me give her more treats than I do and less kisses! I love her fur, and how soft it is. But because I tried to comfort her so much this week by reassuring kisses, I decided to photograph her nose.

What about you? What do you love about your dog? Leave me a comment, or send me a note. I'd love to hear!
