1st day of summer!

Summer makes me think of baseball, fireworks, lemonade, lazy days by the pool, s'mores, picnics, and chasing fireflies at night. Today marks the longest day of the year. It always makes me sad that for the rest of the summer, each day is just a little bit shorter. It seems like the longest day should be in August and the shortest day should be in February, don't you agree?

I also love this time of the year because it means more time outdoors and more adventures with my dogs. Like playing in the baby pool on a hot afternoon, wading in the creek, evening walks after dinner and hikes on local trails. They enjoy this time of year too because there is so much more we can do together.
