Project 52: Week 8 - Black & White
It's been an interesting week around here lately. We've had brutally cold temperatures, more snowstorms and a 5 month old Treeing Walker Coonhound staying with us! Izzy's thrilled to have a dog in the house again (it's been 9 months since our last foster dog was adopted), but I'm not sure she agrees with us that this puppy is absolutely adorable! So while Belle was at the veterinarian to be spayed, I took Izzy for an afternoon romp to Millbrook Marsh. It's much too cold to stay out for long, but I've had this idea to use this barn as a backdrop for a while. I was hoping it would make a great black and white image, this week's Project 52 theme, and I'm pleased with how it came out. It's too easy to forget about creating images in black and white, but when done right, they can be absolutely stunning.
