Where should you have your pet photography session?

With so many beautiful locations that are pet friendly, there is no shortage of options of where to have your pet photography session. Here are 4 tips to help you decide what is the best place for you and your pet.

1. Do you have a place that is special to you? Is there a park your take your dog to walk on a regular basis? Did you move to Florida because you love the beach? Would you describe yourself as modern hanging out in trendy coffee shops with your pups?

2. Does your pet get anxious going on a car ride or going somewhere new? Maybe your beautiful landscaped yard is the best place for your session.

3. On the other hand, if your dog loves to go on adventures and is constantly begging to go somewhere, maybe an adventure at a park where there are trails to hike is the perfect location.

4. Is your pet elderly and tires easily, yet still loves an adventure, albeit a short one? There are some great locations that don’t involve much walking. Sometimes these locations are right in your own neighborhood. Or in a parking lot a quick drive away. You’d be amazed at how some drab locations make for spectacular photos!

There’s no right or wrong answer to what location to have your photo shoot, it just depends on what’s best for you and your pet and what your vision for your artwork is. No matter where your session takes place, the main thing to remember is to have fun creating memories with your furry best friends!
